Munsiyari awarded Best Mountain Destination 2022

Now Munsiyari, a beautiful hill station in Pithoragarh border district of Uttarakhand, has received the Best Mountain Destination 2022 award in the Tourism Survey Award. The award was presented at a tourism summit and award ceremony organized at a Hotel in New Delhi by Union Minister of State for Culture, Government of India Arjun Ram Meghwal and State Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, besides Himachal Pradesh Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan, Tourism Secretary Arvind Singh, Chairman RTDC Dharmendra Rathod and given in the presence of Raj Chengappa.
Tourism Minister, Government of Uttarakhand, Satpal Maharaj has expressed happiness over Munsiyari receiving the Best Mountain Destination award and said that this honor is dedicated to Uttarakhand Government's far-reaching thinking towards tourism and to all those involved in making the state a better state. Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj further informed on the occasion that all preparations have been completed for the upcoming Yoga Festival in Uttarakhand. International Yoga Festival (IYF) 2023 is being organized in the state from 1 to 7 March, 2023 at Rishikesh, the international capital of yoga and spirituality. Yogacharyas from renowned yoga institutes of the country like Isha Foundation, Art of Living, Krishnamachari Yoga Mandiram, Kaivalyadham, Sivananda Ashram etc. will participate in this yoga festival. People from all over the country and abroad will participate in this Festival.
