Detailed Itinerary for Chardham Yatra- 10 days Program from Dehradun/Haridwar to Dehradun/Haridwar
Day 1: Dehradun/Haridwar to Barkot
Distance: 138 km | Duration: 5 Hours
Your Chardham Yatra will start from Dehradun/Haridwar for Barkot via Mussoorie. This path also provides a scenic view of the Mussoorie and the neighboring hills on both sides of the vehicle. The driver will take you to Barkot and drop you at your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri, Yamunotri to Barkot
Distance: 36 km Drive + 7 km Trek (One side) | Duration: 4-5 Hours
The next day after having your breakfast, you will be driven to Janki Chatti where you step into a trek of about 7 km (one side) to reach the Yamunotri temple. After pooja and darshan at the temple, you will trek down to Janki Chatti, our driver will drop you at your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Distance: 82 km | Duration: 3 Hours
The next day you will transfer to Uttarkashi, where you will go sightseeing to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. After the visit, you have a night’s stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri, Gangotri to Uttarkashi
Distance: 96 km | Duration: 3 Hours 40 Minutes
Your fourth day is going to be a day along the trail toward Gangotri for pooja and darshan, after which you will proceed back to the hotel at Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Distance: 199 km | Duration: 4-5 Hours
The next day after check out, our driver will take you to Guptkashi, where you will have an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Distance: 23 km Drive + 16 km Trek | Duration: 6-7 Hours
On the 6th day, you will start early morning to reach Gaurikund from where the journey starts, to Kedarnath 16 km on only one side. It is also possible to hire a horse, a pony, a palki, or a doll to accomplish the trek as well. Having the darshan one can stay at Kedarnath for more time to watch the pooja at night after visiting the temple.
Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Distance: 16 km Trek + 23 km Drive | Duration: 6-7 Hours
The next day you will have to walk down to Gaurikund and then have to take a drive to Guptkashi. After reaching Guptkashi you will have an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath
Distance: 47 km | Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
On the eighth day, you will start your journey towards Badrinath, there you will visit Mana village, Bheem Pul, and Vyas Gufa. In the evening, our driver will take you to Badrinath Temple for darshan, and after darshan, he will drop you at your hotel where you will have an overnight stay.
Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
Distance: 70 km | Duration: 2Hours 20 Minutes
The next day after attending the morning aarti in the Badrinath templeyou will proceed to Rudraprayag and have an overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Rudraprayag to Dehradun/Haridwar
Distance: 174 km | Duration: 4 Hours 20 Minutes
This tour completes the visit to all four Dhams; on the 10th day, our driver will head towards Dehradun/Haridwar from Rudraprayag and drop you at your final destination.
